Danada
Danada Fall Festival

Annual autumn event at the Danada Equestrian Center in Wheaton, with Plank Road volunteers providing entertainment.

Fox Valley Folk Festival

Premier folk music fest on Labor Day weekend in Geneva, drawing thousands of visitors for two days of entertainment and more!

Eric Lambert Bluegrass Jam

Several times a year there’s a month with five Saturdays – and when that happens, professional singer and multi-instrumentalist Eric Lambert hosts a lively bluegrass sing-around, open to all.

Holiday Fun

In December, Plank Road and Two Way Street Coffee House host an afternoon of caroling, a holiday sing-around and festive refreshments.

Annual Meeting

Plank Road members (and their guests) get together at the Log Cabin in Lombard to celebrate another great year with music and food!

It was all about fiddles, banjos, mandolins and guitars when Paul Tyler and Steve Rosen presented a workshop for old-time string band enthusiasts.

Chris Walz Workshop

Plank Road was fortunate to have bluegrass musician and Old Town School instructor Chris Walz for a special workshop, followed by a bluegrass jam.

Matt Watroba Workshop

Matt Watroba’s “Celebration of Community” workshop is a group experience that brings together people who enjoy singing and sharing songs, to “heal your body and feed your soul.”

Red Tail Ring Workshop

Red Tail Ring, known for their intricate arrangements of original folk music and traditional ballads, presented a special workshop featuring multiple instruments.
